Celebrating Catholic Schools Day

Last Friday we created some kites to celebrate the Holy Spirit which lives in all of us. The Holy Spirit is often linked to the wind as the wind is something you can't see but you can feel it or watch it move the leaves on the trees. We can't see the Holy Spirit as a physical thing but we can see it displayed in the words and actions of people.
On Monday we celebrated Catholic Schools Day with every other Catholic School in New Zealand. We flew our kites on the field and discussed how special we are to be a Catholic school and then joined St Kevin's College for a beautiful mass to finish the day.
Here are some photos  the children took of their kites.
